Wadebridge Foodbank receives The King’s Award for Voluntary Service

We are excited and honoured that our foodbank and its volunteers have received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award given to volunteer organisations across the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.

We are immensely proud of our team of volunteers who give over 12,000 hours of their time annually. This award is recognition of their hard work, dedication, compassion, and support for those in need within our community.

The team gives assistance to those facing food insecurity and have made a positive impact providing food, care, and hope, plus help with financial health checks when needed.

Our volunteers are a real blessing to our foodbanks and play a vital role in building stronger, more compassionate communities.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us, whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness.

Together, we are making a real difference.
